Tonight Chef Michael Michael McMillan is serving Grilled Game Hen with Chardonnay on the magnifico sunset patio at Signorello Vineyards. While the rave reviews are coming in on his new book, he is pairing this superb dish with the old vines Hope's Cuvee Chardonnay '10, which is very much like one of the better Meursault, Chassagne Montrachet or a Puligny-Montrachet. Put into a Napa framework, it is like one of the finer vintages of Hess Su'skol Vineyard Chardonnay, yet outperforming such vintages sooner because of its older vines.
This is the best way to get a bargain gourmet modest-sized early dinner/snack and hang out with your BFFs in one of the most beautiful sunset patio spots in Napa Valley.
This week, it's only on Friday. Through the end of October, this program normally runs both Thursday and Friday.
